Collectors Foundation joins the Diecasm Non-Profit Network
Collectors Foundation joins with Diecasm to introduce and garner more support for its mission from among a larger circle of collectors. Founded by Hagerty Insurance Agency, and now supported by a growing number of collectors, the Collectors Foundation has awarded more than $1,000,000 in scholaships and grants since its inception in 2005.
Nearly 200,000 school age children have used classic cars and boats at major car and boat museums around the country to learn lessons in art, history, and science. More than 2,000 high school youth are using specialty tools and equipment in their auto technology classes provided through grants from the Foundation. And 90 career-seeking young adults have received scholarship support for post-secondary study in automobile restoration, rod and custom building, and design studies in certified programs at colleges and universities.
