Automodello is a new manufacturer specializing in low volume production of overlooked, neglected and interesting as well as new models from British, European, North American and other marques. Automodello's first model is the 1964 Griffith Series 200 produced in a limited edition.

This is the full untold story about how the TVR Grantura was transformed into a V8 powerhouse out in Long Island during the mid-60's. The author, Mike Mooney, is the former Suffolk County Police Highway Patrol officer who become the Griffith test driver working with Mark Donohue.

The writing style is down home as if your reliving a story from yesterday, not almost 40 years ago. You have to remember that this was about the same time as the Cobra and before government intervention and gas crisis. It is a fascinating history that should interest those who lived through it and those who wish they had been there too.

The Griffith Years is shipped from North Carolina after each copy is personally autographed by Mike Mooney. If you'd like your own special inscription, please let Mike know in the Comments section during Checkout.
